  • 30 g sunflower seeds
  • 30 g Linseeds
  • 400 g oats
  • 250 g Butter
  • 180 g raw sugar
  • 150 g golden syrup

Recipe's preparation

    Flapjacks
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.  Line the baking tray with baking paper.

    Weigh the Sunflower and Linseeds into the TM - mill on speed 9 for 8 secs.

    Weigh in the oats, then set aside the dry ingredients in a bowl.

  2. Add the butter to the TM - melt the butter at 80 degrees for 3 mins on speed 2.

    Add the sugar and the syrup and heat at 80 degrees for 2 mins on speed 2.

    Add the dry ingredients and stir for 2 mins on speed 2, reverse to combine.

    Spread the mixture over the baking tray and flatten using a spoon.

    Bake in the oven for 30 mins at 180 degrees until golden.

  3. Take the flapjacks out of the oven and cut into squares whilst still hot.

    Leave to cool in the tin .

    Will keep fresh in an airtight container.

Tip

- Great in School Lunchboxes

- Add dried fruit, nuts etc for variety and health

    these are fantastic! i keep them in the freezer for a treat for our girls who both love !!!! them tmrc_emoticons.) also very delicious served warm for breakfast with yoghurt and tinned black doris plums - i cut out with a circle cutter for guests breakfasts and use the offcuts mixed with walnuts as a museli

    These were amazing. Never used linseeds before but they gave it an amazing taste. I used honey instead of golden syrup though.

    Excellent flapjacks, i didn't have quite enough porridge oats so added some oatmeal , turned out great, not too sweet.
