If you don't want strawberry seeds in your ice cream you can put the pureed strawberries through a fine seive before adding the anglaise.

Fabulous recipe! Doubled the strawberries & halved the sugar & just right for us. Have also used this recipe with black Doris plums which needed the extra sugar.
So good, and so easy! I reduced the sugar to 100g and doubled the strawberries (we had been strawberry picking and had A LOT!). I also poured it straight into kids icecream/popsicle moulds, so skipped the re-freezing step. Turned out delicious - I've eaten at least as many of them as the kids 😝
Absolutely devine. I made this with my 2 year old and 4 year old and I'm fairly sure I ate 3/4 of it
Absolutely beautiful, better than an ice cream shop
Waiting, waiting, waiting! Done and in the freezer. Anticipating diving into it tonight when Mr 13yo gets home from school. I added extra strawberries and crushed chocolate M&M's! Bazinga
Read all the comments and so glad I did! I reduced the sugar and doubled the strawberries - result was an absolute delicious and fresh ice cream. Thanks so much x
Thank you for the recipe it is absolutely delicious- after reading all the comments I reduced the sugar and added two punnets of strawberries and put it in the ice cream churned - so 😋
We made this yesterday and is amazing!!!!! We had freshly picked strawberries from the farm but we changed the recipe as we didn't have all the cream. Instead we did 300ml of cream and 200ml of coconut yoghurt and super delicious! Can't wait to try this with other fruits and berries.
Amazing recipe. I also added banana which taste great too.
Love this recipe, the only thing i changed was to add more strawberries
