    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

I made this tonight and it was delicious! Thankyou.

Like others, I found this way too salty. Next time, maybe only using 1 Tbs of French onion mix would be good.

To make it not so salty, I ended up adding 4tsp of sugar and 600mls of thickened cream, 1/2 tsp curry powder, which then made it perfect.

I also added frozen peas/corn/beans (packet mix) at the end, which gave it a really nice extra bit of texture.

I struggled a bit reading/keeping my spot with the instructions, as it’s all together in 1 big block of writing. Having it seperated would really help.

Thankyou again - this was delicious and i’ll be making it again for sure!

Sorry to hear your sausages got shredded, so please make sure that you place in reverse before placing the sausages in the bowl

This was a nice meal, the kids ate it. Only problem was that most of my sausages got shredded even on reverse speed in the final step.
