I also soaked almonds - just overnight, then made the almond milk in the morning. Having read the comments, I decided to add a pinch of salt and a teaspoon of sugar. It is so delicious! Thank you for this very easy recipe.
Made this today and very happy with result. Easy as, did take advice and soaked the almonds.
Any suggestions on what to do with the almond paste/meal left over??
This is soooooooo good! I read in the comments about adding 3 dates and a pinch of salt, so did this with mine.
I have never been able to drink store brought almond milk by itself, but I loved the flavour of this one so much. Hoping to convert my kids over, wish me luck!
I would like to suggest soaking your almonds for at least 4 hours or overnight to activate them before using in any recipes
Made this this morning, so easy and delicious in my morning latte

Can you make almond butter from the solid left over?
Just wondering if I need to have the almonds with skin on or off for this?
