Great Easy Buttercream Recipe
I use this recipe regularly.
This afternoon Miss 10 and I had some special Grandma/granddaughter time and made some fun cupcakes for tomorrow's St Patrick's Day fundraiser at school. The instructions are so straightforward, I didn't have to help her at all.
She was very proud of herself and her creations and rightly so!
FANTASTIC buttercream recipe - it is a bit hot up here in Mackay so I added a 1/3 cup extra icing sugar and a teaspoon of cornflour - to stabilise it. I will never go back to the mix-master recipe again! Thankyou for a great recipe!
This is the best Icing I have found and use it every time I make cupcakes.
Perfect and super easy. I added some vanilla essence but other than that did everything the same.
Perfect! I used pure icing sugar so I blitzed that first to get rid of the lumps before adding the butter. Lovely topping for my blueberry muffins 😁
I made a 'jaffa icing' using this recipe today. I used 280gms bought icing sugar (not keen on making my own icing sugar as it seems to still remain gritty for the icing) and 20gms cocoa, and for the milk I used chocolate milk and used 1 drop of wild orange oil (doterra) for the jaffa flavour.
Fantastic recipe. Thanks for sharing. I doubled it, mixed on sp 3 and used oat milk. It worked perfectly.
Great recipe, thank you and so easy and not too sweet "Closed lid"
I made this today with lemon instead of milk. It was delicious. So easy to make.
Very easy and tasty.
