I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius and line with baking paper a greased slice tin.
Add butter and brown sugar to TM bowl and mix on speed 5 for 10 seconds.
Add golden syrup and mix on speed 5 for 6 seconds then scrape down sides of TM bowl.
Crack the egg into a glass jug and pour egg into mixing TM through the hole in the TM lid while on speed 2 for 10 seconds.
Scrape down sides of TM bowl again and pour milk or buttermilk through the hole in the TM lid while mixing for 6 seconds on speed 6.
Add in sifted self raising flour and mix on speed 8 for 25 sec or until all nicely combined.
Evenly pour about just under half of the mixture into prepared slice tin and bake in pre-heated oven for 7-10 minutes or until just firm
Allow to cool for 5 minutes then evenly pour out the packet of M&Ms onto the just firm base and spread to almost cover entirely (or as much as you can).
Pour the rest of the mixutre left in the TM into the slice tin to completely cover the M&Ms (or as much as you can).
Bake for a further 20-25 minutes until golden and cooked through.
Place dark chocolate in a fully cleaned and dried TM bowl and mill on speed 8 for 10 seconds. Scrape down sides of TM bowl
Add copha to TM bowl and melt chocolate and copha at 50 degrees, on speed 3 for 4 minutes.
Pour melted chocolate copha mixture evenly onto baked slice and spread across with spatula to cover top entirely.
Allow to cool for 5-10 minutes but do not allow the chocolate top to hard-set. Once cooled, remove from slice tip onto a bread board and cut your slices.

Tip
Cut the slices before the chocolate goes too hard or it will crack when you cut it. Use a sharp knife; clean the with hot water and dry the knife before each cut into the slice.
