Ingredients

Sauce

  • 1 red capsicum, Quarted & Seeded
  • 2 garlic cloves, Peeled
  • 1400 g tomatoes, Quatred
  • 1 tbsp rock salt
  • 1 tbsp Rapadura suagr
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 --- bay leaves
  • 1 sprig rosemary, leaves only
  • 5 sprigs parsley
  • 5-6 --- basil, leaves only

Recipe's preparation

    sauce
  1. Place capsicum into bowl and chop  5 sec/speed 3.5

    Scrape down, add garlic & tomatoes 30 sec/speed 3

    Add remaining ingredients 40 min/varoma/speed 1 with MC removed and TM basket on mixing bowl lid

    Scrape down, return MC and blend 30 sec/speed 9, gradually increasing speed from speed 1 to speed 9

    Scrape down, 20 min/varoma/speed 1 with MC removed and TM basket on mixing bowl lid 

Tip

Recipe can also be frozen into ice cube trays for up to 3 months

    Great when you have a garden of tomatoes, uses them up nicely. Can play around with flavors and herbs or just as is is fine too. Made a few lots now and freeze in little bags

    Love this recipe! Smile So easy to make and sooooooo very delicious. I completely omitted the sugar and it is awesome. So for anyone on an LCHF lifestyle, this is great.

    Beautiful sauce! Everyone made their own pizza (10 people) and the sauce was all finished. Will experiment with bottling this sauce. As suggested, a chilli or 2 would be great! Thanks for the recipe.

    This is a yummy recipe! Currently in my thermo making it again. Today I bought a big bag of chillies so I added a couple for a little bit of extra taste. I like to portion it out into 100g bags and freeze and pull out when needed.
