I used Donna Hays gluten free flour and rice malt syrup. It turned out a bit dense and doughy because I didn't realise you had a recipe for your own flour so I'll try it again with the recommended flours.
Yummy 😋 I used 25g brown sugar instead of honey. 5g chippy salt. Wholemeal gluten-free pl. flour, 1tsp garlic pwd, 1tsp mixed herbs. 1Tbsp chia seeds. Reminder to self don’t use bicarb soda as raising agent. Leaves weird smell😬.
I think I made it rise too much, tasted good but was very moist and a bit doughy and heavy. I am not sure what I did wrong.
We are failing at this big time. It always flops in the middle and doesn’t rise well. We are using gluten free self raising flour, could that be it?
I made this yesterday. It was great!!
I used gluten free flour I made in the Thermomix, so it was like wholemeal bread. I added about 6grams of zantham gum as it’s not in the bread mix.
I froze the bread we didn’t use. Sliced it and froze it like any other bread. Just used a blunt knife to pop what I wanted apart. It toasts well. Just a great whole-round bread!
can this be made just with rice flour instead of gf flour???
Was very easy to make. Everyone loved it
made this tonght and everybody loves it!
Loved it
So soft and fluffy. We loved it. The best one I’ve tried. I had one problem though. The honey seemed to sink to the bottom of the loaf. Any suggestions.
