Ingredients
Healthier LCM Bars
- 4 cups of puffed rice (you can purchase this from a healthfood store or you can use rice bubbles)
- 2 cups of desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup of chia seeds
- 1/2 Cup of coconut oil
- 1 cup of rice malt syrup (you can substitute for RAW honey - this will be a much sweeter version)
- 1/4 cup of cacao

- 1. Place all dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix gently with a spatula (puffed rice, desiccated coconut, chia seeds, cacao).
2. Melt the coconut oil and rice malt syrup in the Thermomix® bowl for 3 mins/50 degrees/speed 3.
3. Pour the melted mixture into the bowl with dry ingredients and mix well. You may wish to use your hands to combine.
4. Press the mixture into a lined baking tin, so it is 1 cm thick and flatten with the back of a spoon.
5.Place the slice into the fridge and allow it to set for approximately 2 hours (overnight is best). Slice into bars when ready and store in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 1 month.

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
