I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- 1. Add 20g flaxseeds to the bowl and "Blend" 10 seconds speed 10.
Use spatula to scrape down sides of bowl.
2. Add 50 g coconut flour, 100 g tapioca flour, 1 tsp salt, egg and 220 g water.
3. "Blend" 20 seconds speed 5, scrape down sides of bowl. Check consistency of batter as it should be as thick/thin as pancake batter. You may have to add more water and mix.
4. Pre-heat non-stick frying pan and spray with oil or brush with ghee
5. Add enough batter to spread thinly over the base of the pan with the back of a large spoon or spatula.
6. Cook on medium to high heat until mix starts to dry slightly. Flip and cook on other side.
7. Place on a plate and cover with a clean tea towel.
8. Continue with remaining mix. 6 serves.
Tip
Note: I used an Aldi roti maker to make my wraps. You place a large spoonful of the mix in the centre and close the lid until cooked. You can make the mix a little runnier to spread out over the roti maker No flipping needed! These wraps will stay pliable and not break when 'wrapped'

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
