  • 250 grams pitted prunes
  • 290 grams water
  • 1/4 tsp bicarb soda
  • 30 grams cocoa
  • 130 grams sugar, can use rapadura
  • 50 grams Butter, at room temp
  • 2 eggs
  • 130 grams SR flour
  • 70 grams walnuts

Recipe's preparation

  1. Grease and line a slice tin 12cm x 25cm approx.  Pre heat oven to 200degC.  Place prunes, water, bicarb soda, and cocoa in TM bowl blend 8secs Sp 7.  Add softened butter, eggs combine 12 secs Sp 5.  Add in flour 5 secs Sp 4. Fold in walnuts with spatuala.  Pour mixture into tin.  Bake 20mins.

Tip

Cut into squares and sprinkle with icing sugar.

    And another tip....a slice tin is about 20cmx30cm which is what I used. A 12x25cm was more a loaf tin size
