For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:

Recipe's preparation
- Preheat oven to 225 degrees
Add butter, sugar, salt and "No counter-clockwise operation" 1 minute speed 3
Add egg and pumpkin and "No counter-clockwise operation" 1 minute speed 3.
Add flour and cinnamon and "Dough mode" 1 minute.
Turn onto floured board and either use cutters or shape into a large log and cut into squares.
Soray top of scones with spray oil or egg wash.
Place tray on top shelf of oven for 15-20 minutes.
Serve warm with butter.
Scones freeze well.
