Gluten Free Kids Hamburgers

Ingredients

Hamburgers

  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 Spring onions chopped
  • 1 Green Apple quartered
  • 1 carrot roughly chopped
  • 500 grams Mince Meat
  • 1 egg
  • 40 grams GF breadcrumbs
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon TM Veg Stock Concerntrate

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place onion and garlic in bowl, chop 3 seconds, speed 7


    2. Add carrol and apple, chop 3 seconds, speed 5


    3. Scrape down bowl and add all remaining ingredients


    4. Mix for 15 seconds, counter-clockwise operation, speed 3


    5. Scrape down bowl.  Mix 5 seconds, counter-clockwise operation, speed 3


    6. Allow mixture to set in the fridge for 1/2 hour to make forming burgers easier


    7. Roll into 16 small patties for little kids or 8 large patties for big kids


    8. Cook on the BBQ or in a frying pan with a little oil for a few minutes each side

Tip

You can use regular bread crumbs if GF is not essential.

Preparation is 5 minutes, resting is 30 minutes and cooking time about 8 minutes.

The resting step can be reduced or missed however your hamburgers may be a little crumbly.

These can be frozen and will defrost and cook well.

    These turned out great thanks.  I can't have any bread at the moment so I  used rice flour instead. Just enjoying them cold for lunch now.
