Recipe's preparation

  1. Grind the almonds and dates together at speed 9 for 10 seconds

  2. Add the rest of the ingredients except for the banana Closed lid"Closed lid" , pulse a few times on turbo to mix.  Do not do this too much or you will break up the seeds too much

  3. Peel and break up the banana. Closed lid"Closed lid" Pulse on turbo a few times again until the mixture comes together

  4. Put mounds of the mix onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.  Flatten a little with a fork.  Bake in 180 degree oven for 15 minutes until golden.

Tip

These biscuits have no refined sugar, the sweetness comes from the dates and banana.  Great slow release energy snacks.

YUM.  So easy and healthy.  Great for a snack or morning tea.  I used pepitas & sunflower seeds, sultanas and cranberries.  Will be making again.

Lovely cookies - taste good and full of flavoursome and high fibre ingredients.  I added 1 teaspoon vanilla.  Didn't miss sugar at all.  Thank you for the recipe.
