I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
Insert Butterfly.
Place cream into TM bowl "Closed lid" and beat on speed 4 until the desired consistency is achieved ie. you want the cream to be a dollop-like consistency, not too firm.
Add Sweetened Condensed milk and beat on speed 4 until just combined.
Remove butterfly and add crushed Crunchie Bar/s, combine speed 3 on Reverse "Counter-clockwise operation" for 5 seconds.
Line tray with Cling Wrap, so as to overflow out to the sides of the tray (you will be wraping the ice-cream sandwiches together once completed).
Lay Malto Milk Biscuits along the base of tray.
Pour icecream mixture into tray so as to cover the biscuits.
Place a layer of Malto Biscuits on top of ice-cream mixture so as to match the top layer with the bottom layer.
Once all biscuits are layered, fold the Cling Wrap up and over the ice-cream sandwiches so as to hold the biscuit and ice-cream mixture in place.
Place in Freezer.
1 day in the freezer is sufficient, however the longer they are in the better, plus the biscuits become chewier over time.
Yummy, enjoy!
Tip
You can substitute the Crunchie Bar for any chocolate bar of your choice ie. Cherry Ripe.

So Tasty
These were so good, easy to make and went down a treat with everyone.
So yummy & simple, thank you!
Good recipe to have on standby.
I have also always split the mix in 2 after mixing so I can make 2 flavours of sandwiches.

I have never made Icecream Sandwiches with thickened cream, including this time. It worked perfectly with normal whipping cream.
Thanks for saving me from making butter as I did in my previous attempt 5 yrs ago.
We made it with M and Ms, and Flakes
I've posted that I used your recipe on my Page (below) and the Hints and Tips page so you might get a bit of traffic checking out your recipe, from that

Great to hear Jess. Apologies I didn't comment sooner but I'd forgotten to tick the alert box when somebody commented. I make these all the time for the boys, less additives so I'm happy
Thanks Alison, I'm pleased your like them. My boys are asking me to make them all the time. They're handy in the freezer alot of the time.
Yummy!!! Dangereous even..... thankyou so much for posting!!
These were really yummy. I made them yesterday and couldn't wait to eat them tonight. These are a real handy alternative to going to shops and buying those (which is good because i don't like them). Next time i make them though i think i'll add more crunchie (or the boyfriend even suggested oreo biscuits) and i might even use bigger biscuits to help spred the mixture more.
Jess
My family loved this easy dessert but instead of crunchie bars we used Easter eggs. Thanks for sharing
