Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Just made this, delicious, reduced to 60g sugar & was perfect, will definitely make again rather than buy
Yum, just what I felt like.
I've made chai tea before and even after straining it there were ground up tea leaves in it.
This strained so much better.
Next time I will cut down on the sugar, maybe 80 grams, it's a little sweet but still lovely.
I made it with almond milk.
Lovely recipe. I might try less sugar next time. Had it boiled water and it remained very tasty.
I made mine without sugar and it turned out well except I read the recipe wrong and put in too much cardamom! I put the powder into my thermal mug and added hot water and was ready to hit the road!
Made this tonight with soy powder & it's very nice. Next time I'll substitute coconut sugar too & one day will add some turmeric for its health benefits. It will be a huge hit with the kids who are limited to water, milk, soy milk & the occasional milo. Thank-you.
I have made this a few times and love it. Reduced sugar to 30g and found it sweet enough.
Just made this for Christmas Presents to put in hampers.....Had to test it first...OMG! Don't know if I can give it away!! Will need to make another batch for myself!
Looks seriously YUMMO!
I have already made this twice this week, a huge hit in our house and so easy to make
Thank you
My family LOVES this recipe...we've tried a few Chai Latte recipes and this one is now our favourite! Super easy instructions and quick and easy to make. We added a bit extra of all the flavours second time round - YUM!!!! Thank you for sharing your recipe ☺️
