I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Place garlic onion (and bacon if using) into mixing bowl and chop 5 seconds / speed 5 (repeat for 2 seconds / speed 5 if necessary)
- Add potatoes and all other ingredients except cheese and cook for 20 minutes / 100 degrees / reverse "Counter-clockwise operation" / speed "Gentle stir setting"
- Pour mixture into greased baking dish (25-30cm)
- Sprinking with grated cheese (if using) and bake for 20-30 minutes until golden on top.
Preheat oven to 210 degrees
Tip
I find sometimes depending on freshness of potatoes it may need slightly longer in the oven, if so bake for an extra 10-15 minutes but turn heat down to 180 degrees and keep an eye on it.
If cooking in the TM31 be mindful not to go past max line.

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Just love this recipe. I make it on a regular basis. I replace bacon with corn or zucchini.
