Recipe's preparation

    Rice Pudding
  1. STEP ONE: Place water into mixing bowl. Insert rice into TM basket and cook 20 - 25 mins/Varoma/speed 2.

    Adjust cooking time as needed
  2. STEP TWO: Using TM Spatula, remove TM basket and pour out the remaining water.
  3. STEP THREE: Place the rice back into the TM bowl with the coconut milk and leave to cool and thicken. Once cooled blend for 5-10 seconds/speed 5 depending on how smooth your baby can handle, it may need longer.

NOTE: The pudding will thicken when blended so you may need to add more coconut milk to get a smoother texture.
  4. STEP FOUR: Spoon rice pudding into individual portion trays or bowls about half way, leaving room for the fruit puree on top. Place this in fridge and move on to next step. Rinsing the Closed lid"Closed lid" is optional tmrc_emoticons.)
  5. Peach Puree
  6. STEP ONE: Place peaches in the TM Bowl and blend 10 seconds/speed 6 till you achieve a smooth consistency.
  7. STEP TWO: Spoon the puree on top of the rice pudding to either freeze, refrigerate or serve immediantly.

Tip

Portion size varies depending on your child.

Create different flavours like Apricot, Mixed Berries, Pear purees etc, by storing fruit in seperate containers and spoon over rice pudding when ready to serve.

Store in fridge in an air tight container for up to 3 days or spoon individual portions into ice cube trays or other baby-food containers and freeze for up to 3 months.

my machine takes longer to cook rice, I was tossing up whether to use the instructions by the book or use how long it took me. My consultant said our machines take longer to heat due to our colder climate so I went with the books instructions so not to have everyone over cooking tmrc_emoticons.) Thanks for trying, glad you liked it! Thank you

I came across this recipe to help use up some coconut milk, it wasn't until i finished reading through that i realised it was a baby food recipe but they didn't stop me from making it. It was easy and very tasty to make, i added a banana with my peaches which just added to the flavour tmrc_emoticons.)

I made this for my 11 month old and two year old with berries. Both loved it! My 11month old daughter is dairy/soy/egg free so this recipe hit the spot perfectly! Thank you so much for sharing tmrc_emoticons.)
