Cake batter
- 250 grams water
- 330 grams raw sugar
- 125 grams Butter
- 60 grams cocoa
- 3 eggs
- 240 grams Self Raising Flour
- 5 grams bicarbonate soda

I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
1. Place water, sugar, butter and cocoa into bowl and "Gentle stir setting" on 70oC until butter is melted.
2. Bring to boil, 4 minutes, 100oC, speed 2
3. Simmer for 3 minutes, 50oC, speed 2
4. Add soda
5. Cool mix til bowl temperature is below 40oC
6. Add in eggs and self raising flour, mix for 20 seconds on speed 3.
7. Pour into prepared lined tin and bake in preheated 160oC fan forced oven accordingly: -
20cm square tin 50-60 minutes
slab tin 30-35 minutes

Tip
Make buttercream icing recipe from the EDC for the topping for this cake, and sprinkled with some toasted sliced almonds.
