Oatmeal porridge with banana and walnuts

  • 3/4 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk, Full Cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 Tbs water
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp Butter
  • 2 tsp Maple syrup
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 banana, sliced
  • 1/4 cup walnuts, chopped

    TM steps
  1. Place cottage cheese, milk, vanilla extract and water in bowl Closed lid"Closed lid" and mix 6 sec / speed 6.

  2. Add oats and cook 9 min / 100°C / Reverse Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 2.*Add more water if too thick
  3. Non TM steps
  4. Heat butter, maple syrup and cinnamon in a small frypan.

  5. Add banana and walnuts.
  6. Divide oatmeal between 2 bowls and top with banana-walnut mixture.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.
