Forum Newbie Here!!
Hi Lynsey
Has the TX lived up to its expectations? I'm sure it has.
I definitely have saved on my grocery shopping and I've only had it three weeks now.
I was a bit daunted at first but my rep came over and showed me how to cook manually following a recipe and a few things. She had told me quite a lot when she delivered it but it all went out the window when I was on my own!!! LOL
I have found the recipe community has a wealth of info.
Cheers
Bev
Hi,
im new to the world of thermomix, been looking at this site for a few weeks and bit the bullet and had a demo yesterday. Before I knew it I was so excited I bought one!!!! Actually, I was excited but had thought that it would be great for what I need.
couldnt believe it could do so much so fast. Loved the fact there was no high pressure selling as I would have hated that.
apparently I now twiddle my fingers for 6-8weeks!! Long wait, but makes all the menu plans longer!! My consultant is training as a dietician and had ground rock salt with 4 nori wrappers. Apparently we all lack trace elements iodine and this was a great way of getting them. The salt was lovely on the garlic and rosemary pizza.
Just thought I'd share that little tip!
I have had my thermomix 2 weeks and have used it every day. Basic white bread is a regular on the menu,
mashed potato, beef stroganoff, pork meatballs and veggies in the varoma delicious etc.....
today I have made soft bread rolls, minestrone and the apple crumble recipe from Donna Hay in this mornings Herald sun just put the apples and sugar mixture in the thermo and using reverse mixed the lot put it in the dish and proceeded to make the crumble topping.
Hope this encourages all new thermie owners enjoy......
I am new to thermomix had mine 2 weeks I am going to try bread today a bit scared
Hello,
I am new here too and just learning how to browse through this awesome website. I got my TM 3 weeks ago, for my birthday! Yesterday I made 3 batches of tortilla dough (1.5 kg wholemeal flour) and it made 64 delicious tortillas. I am Mexican so make these all the time and never expected that this beautiful machine would help me even knead my tortilla dough! I am totally amazed.

I've had mine a couple of months now and use it at least once a day. I love making breads and damper and even did creme caramels the other night and they were so easy! Have fun experimenting
HI everyone!Just received my Thermomix yesterday avo, and have been busy learning the ropes. Made potato and leek soup, found it a bit bland so will try to add more leeks nest time. Also had grandkids over and made strawberry sorbet......delicious.
My grandaughter has PKU (needs a very low protein diet , <11 grams/day) and was really interested if there are any other users out there with PKU recipes to cater for this. Tried searching site but came up with zero results. Looking forward to more culinary adventures and swapping recipes.
