Yes I too would love some low carb diabetic recipes, I can only eat about 17 -20 grams of carbs per meal otherwise my BGLS blow way out.

I am "brittle" type one diabetic and exceedingly proactive in healthy cooking for my condition.
My recently deceased partner was a physician and ensured I had the most up to date info for suitable foods.
One of the most important aspects for a healthy diabetic menu is to include slow carbs.
These include legumes and pulses - especially lentils - which can be seemlessly included in most menus.
Avoiding fast carbs - particularly foods such as rice and potatoes - is imperative.
Since her passing I have binged - just once - on rice - and similarly potatoes - since my partner wasn't there to pass judgement - and each time it took me 48 hours to re-align my BGL.
Before including slow cards in my diet - my BGL would be between 11.0 and 18.0 in the morning.
Following slow carbs for the evening meal - my morning BGL is typically between 4.0 and 8.0.

Agree with the comments, need some diabetic Thermo recipes.

Hi Yes I'd love this too as I have a 10yo diabetic son. Leanne

I am a diabetic and would really appreciate a quick reference for suitable recipes.  Looking forward to it. Thanks.

I also would appreciate a category for diabetic recipes, if another person asking makes it happen........

I would love this too. my hubby is diabetic so it would be great to be able to view diabetic recipes more easily. The exclude function when looking for no sugar recipes does not work.

I agree to find diabetic recipes in one section would be fantastic.Merlin8!

I agree I need to find Diabetic friendly recipes without sorting thru everything. Would be great.

Thanks

I think this is a good idea to consider. Not diabetic here but just empathizing. Rachel

Hi ,

As a diabetic I am always looking for healthy ,tasty recipes that are good for me and that my family will love

I would like to see a category for diabetics on the community .As it would make it so much quicker than trawling through the recipe to check if it is ok.

There is lactose and gluten free already and Diabetes is so prevelent these days and has so many potential medical implications ...Do you think that this is possible ?
