Thanks so much for your help Smile First loaf done and it seems to have worked out fine! The kids inhaled it for afternoon tea Smile I too prefer to avoid the preservatives and stabalisers (hence me starting to bake our bread in the first place) but good to be able to use this up and then get back to normal.

Thanks Tiffany, the extra ingredients are stabilisers and preservatives (not ideal) but nothing that should dramatically affect the method or result of your bread. You can substitute this mix for bakers flour and omit the salt (as it's already added in the flour mix) in your recipe to get you by until the flour is used up. Good luck!

Hello, thanks for your response Smile

I am not at home with the bag of breadmix so can't read the ingredient tag however found this on their website:

http://laucke.com.au/our-products/home-baker-products/bread-mixes/crusty-white/

There's a reason I normally make from scratch! Whilst making from scratch is my ideal, returning will be a pain so wondering how or if this will work Smile

Hi Tiffany, forgive our ignorance but can you please run through the ingredient list on the flour so we can help you Smile

Hello Smile I'm a reasonably new TM owner (one month!) and new to the forum. After a shopping faux pas today I'm hoping someone can help.

I make bread most days using Bakers Flour. Today, wrangling a crazy 2 year old with a kiddie trolley and with horrid back pain I asked someone to pop my flour in my trolley for me and didn't really pay much attention. I now have 10kg of Laucke Crusty White Bread Mix. Can I use this as if it were bakers flour? Or just use it following the instructions on the bag (I have never really use pre-made bread mixes before)?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks Smile
