Hi Pennie,
Your post has been forwarded to our service department and a member from the team will be in contact with you to assist.
Kind regards,
Hello, I have also just had Error 69 display whilst making Jam. It completely shut off 14 mins into cooking when on the Varoma setting. Can anyone advise what I should do? My machine is approx 3 1/2 years old. Thanks
i am rather interested in this topic- what was the upshot with the PM's- the rest of us have no answer.. I bought my TM31 a couple of years ago despite misgivings about the warranty. Now I'd like to know the answers to these questions as I am just out of warranty- help anyone? Thermomix?
Hi ricky1981,
We have sent you a PM.
I'd like to know the outcome of this as well. In NZ we have the Consumer Guarantees Act which means goods must be of "acceptable quality" and specifically they must be durable/last for a reasonable time in relation to the cost.
If our TM failed after 2 and a half years I wouldn't call that reasonable so interested to know what Thermomix think?
Hi Blacky,
Thanks for your post. This issue has been resolved.
Thermomix comes with a 2 year warranty. However, many of our customers have experienced using the Thermomix for years beyond the warranty. Please refer to this link for a few examples references: http://www.recipecommunity.com.au/content/longest-use-thermomix
If you experience any issues following your purchase, your Consultant or our Service team are just a phone call away and will be ready to provide you with any assistance you may require.
We know you will look forward and enjoy the new addition to your kitchen in the coming weeks.
Happy cooking
I'm just about to order a tm what was the outcome of this ??
Hi unhappy,
We understand that one of our staff members has been in contact with you this morning and we hope to resolve this as soon as possible.
I bought a Thermomix 4 years ago and due to a manufacturers fault it is now not working. With moderate use it now has completely lost power, the heater comes on and it shuts itself off with Error 69. If you are thinking of buying a Thermomix please consider this: If it is unusable in 2 years Thermomix will not cover the cost of repairing it's own manufacturer's fault (in my case $330). I consider this outrageous for a $2000 kitchen appliance. Their service department couldn't care less. While I wait for a resolution with Consumer Affairs I'm using my $39 10-year-old appliance. I DON'T RECOMMEND THERMOMIX AT ALL.
