  • 70 g Butter
  • 190 g Sourdough starter, discard or active
  • 120 g flour, bakers flour

Recipe's preparation

    Crackers
  1. Place pieces of cheese into bowl and grate for 10 seconds, speed 10.
  2. Add salt, butter, sourdough starter and flour and use Dough mode"Dough mode" mode for 2 minutes.
  3. Scrape down and Dough mode"Dough mode" for 3 minutes.
  4. Store dough in airtight container for a minimum of 24hrs to 72hrs in fridge.
  5. Remove from fridge a couple hours prior to baking. Divide dough into balls and use pasta roller and extra flour to roll dough into sheets.
  6. Place onto baking tray and bake at 180°C for 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, use pizza cutter wheel or sharp knife to roughly score into cracker sizes. Bake for another 10-15minutes or until lightly browned. Not baked enough and they won't be crunchy, too long and you'll risk burning them. Once cooled, break into crackers and store in an airtight container for a week (if they last!).
