  • 85 gram Desiccated Coconut
  • 155 grams brown sugar
  • 125 grams Butter
  • 2 tablespoon golden syrup
  • 1 teaspoon bicarb soda
  • 150 grams plain flour

Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees, fan forced. Line two baking trays with non-stick paper. Put the butter and golden syrup into the bowl and melt 3 mins/70 degrees/ speed 2.  

    Once melted add the bicarb  and mix 5 sec/ speed 3.

     

    Add all the other ingredients and mix 10 sec/ Counter-clockwise operation"Counter-clockwise operation" / speed 4 to combine.

    Roll the mixture into walnut size balls and press down lightly with a fork.  Bake for about 10/12 minutes.
