Ingredients

  • 40g linseed
  • 150g dates, or any other fruit you like
  • 200g mixed raw nuts- almonds, cashews, macadamias, etc.
  • 180g mixed cereal eg, rolled oats, corn flakes, rice bubbles, bran
  • 100g Dessicated or shredded coconut
  • 100g raw sugar
  • 50g golden syrup
  • 40g pumpkin seeds
  • 40g sunflower seeds
  • 40g sesame seeds
  • 100g coconut oil, or olive oil, or grapeseed oil etc.
  • 2 eggs

Recipe's preparation

  1. Mill linseed first for 15 secs on speed 9

    add dates and chop for 4 secs on speed 7

    add your nuts now ( you can leave whole, or you can turbo them a few times to get roughly chopped nuts)

    add all other indredients

    mix all together on reverse speed 3, using your spatula to help. then press intop lasagne size tray lined with baking paper, I use an egg flip spatula and really press hard down on it to get it all compacted, then bake on 180 for 25-30 mins

    Really delicious but crumbly and kids didn't enjoy. tmrc_emoticons.( oh well more for me then. Left out nuts to be school friendly perhaps that's why it isn't holding together?
