Describe the preparation steps of your recipe
Add all the ingrediants except the lemon juice and place in thermomix. Cook for 20 minutes/80degrees/"Gentle stir setting" .
Colour of water should now be a rich purple colour and fruit should be cooked through. If not continue until fruit cooked through.
Taste: if bitter add Lemon juice.
Cool before serving.
Can Store in sterile jar for up to 3 months. Allowing to rest does make the Cherrries become sweeter over time.
Grease a quiche flan/dish.
Add all the Ingrediants to the Thermomix (except the cherries).
For 2 minutes blend on speed 7, slowly increasing the speed as you go.
Once combined pour into Quiche flan. Bubbles should have formed in the mixutre when mixing. Generously drop cherries into tray and sprinkle with cinnamon.
Cook in a fan fourced oven at 175 degrees for 35 minutes until golden brown on top. The edges should be slightly burnt and there should not be any liquid around the fruit.
Dust with icing sugar and serve warm.
You may also like to make up a syrup with the remaining liquid to serve over the quiche with whipped cream.
