I'm cooking this todayRecipe's preparation
- Line a 20cm x 30cm slice tin with baking paper.
Add one pack of biscuits roughly broken with your hands to the bowl and blitz for 5 seconds speed 6, you don't want the biscuits a fine crumb, so be careful to not over mix. Set aside, repeat with second pack of biscuits. Remove from bowl and set aside with the other biscuits. - Add butter, condensed milk and broken up block of chocolate to bowl and cook for 80 degrees for 3 minutes on speed 2.
- Set timer for 60 seconds and whilst on speed 3 reverse, add biscuits slowly back to the bowl with wet mixture through the lid hole, then for the last 10 seconds use the spatula through the lid to help mixing.
- Spoon into slice dish and push down with spatula. Don't worry if mixture isn't completely combined, it will set fine once in the slice tin. Leave slice out whilst preparing chocolate topping. Wash and dry thermomix bowl.
- Add chocolate and coconut oil to the bowl and cook on 50 degrees, speed 3 for 2 minutes, scrape down sides and cook on 50 degrees, speed 3 for a further 30 seconds, until melted (repeat last step if not yet fully melted).
- Pour chocolate over slice and pop in fridge for 2 hours or until chilled. Remove from fridge and slice in desired sized pieces.
Tip
Try it with any cream filled chocolate block like caramello.

TM 6
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. -

Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
