Ingredients

Cake

  • 250 grams water
  • 260 grams sugar raw
  • 35 grams cocoa
  • 125 grams Butter
  • 1/2 tsp bi-carb soda
  • 2 eggs
  • 170 grams SR flour

Icing

  • 200 grams dark chocolate
  • 150 grams cream

Recipe's preparation

    Cake
  1. Combine water, sugar, cocoa, butter and bicarb soda in Thermomix jug and cook 80 degrees for 3min 30sec/speed 2.
    Cool for approx. 15 minutes then add eggs, mix 4 seconds on speed 4.


     

  2. Add  SR Flour and mix for 5 seconds on speed 3.
    Bake 20cm lined cake pan on 170 degrees for 40 minutes or in muffin cases for about 15 minutes

    If you are using this for cupcakes, remember to fill the moulds 2/3 to 3/4 full, as the mixture doesnt rise as much in the oven as a more 'traditional' batter.

    Delicious, soft and yummy.... Like a boiled chocolate cake recipe I used to make!! Thhese were gone in no time! Thanks for sharing!  Cooking 7
