Ingredients

brownies

  • 125 g coconut oil
  • 180 g 70% dark chocolate chips
  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 3 egg whites
  • 2 teaspoons Coconut sugar
  • 50 g Coconut Flour
  • 50 g cacao powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon pink himalayan sea salt
  • shredded coconut to garnish

Recipe's preparation

  1. Pre-heat oven to 160c (140C fan forced)


     

  2. Line a baking tray

  3. place egg whites into TM bowl and beat, gradually increasing to speed 9 counter-clockwise operation and adding coconut sugar until soft peaks form. Remove egg whites and set aside.

  4. Melt coconut oil and chocolate in bowl for 3 minutes at 50 degrees, speed Gentle stir setting counter-clockwise operation

  5. Add agave syrup, egg yolk, cacao and salt. combine 3 minutes speed 4 counter-clockwise operation

  6. Gently fold egg whites and coconut flour into mixture. Transfer to slice pan and bank for 20 - 25 minutes. 

  7. top with icing sugar and shredded coconut if desired.

    Just cooked this today. I found them a touch bitter with all the cacoa & dark chocolate. Maybe more coconut would help this. I'm not sure. Will see how the kids go with it. It's going to be yummy with lots of whipped cream on top though. LOL. Thank you for sharing. tmrc_emoticons.)
