  • 180 g Butter, softened
  • 60 g custard powder
  • 160 g plain flour

Recipe's preparation

    Method
  1. *Preheat oven to 180 degrees celsius and line two baking trays


    *Measure sugar into bowl and create icing sugar (10secs sp5)


    *Add butter and cream (5secs sp6), scrape down sides of bowl and repeat


    *Add remaining ingredients and mix (5secs sp6), scrape down sides of bowl and repeat


    *Scoop heaped teaspoon amounts and roll into balls, placing on lined tray and flattening slightly with the back of a fork
    *Bake for 10-12 minutes or until slightly golden


    *Once cooled, spread with jam or your favourite frosting and sandwich together

Tip

These look very pretty packaged in cellophane bags and tied with a ribbon, they make a lovely gift

Easy biscuit to make with kids of all ages

Lemon icing, chocolate icing/nutella or raspberry jam are favourites to use between biscuits in our house
