Recipe's preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 220 degrees. Line an oven slide with baking paper.

    Mill sugar for 3 seconds at speed 9. Add flour and combine for 3 seconds at speed 4. Add cream, choc bits and lemonade. Combine for 5 seconds at speed 3. Knead for 40 seconds. Turn out onto a lightly floured board and press out to 3 cm thickness. use a 3-5cm round cutter to cut out scones and arrange close together on tray. Brush with extra cream.

    Bake 10-15 minutes until lightly brown and hollow when tapped on the bottom! Allow to cool. Meanwhile grate chocolate for 5 seconds on speed 8 and melt for 1 minute at 50 degrees on speed 3. Pipe or drizzle chocolate crosses over scones.

    Yum, yum, yum...the kids and I have just devoured these for afternoon tea...couldn't wait to pipe the crosses so we just served them with jam,and cream...divine. Thanks for the recipe!
