Ingredients

Cookie Dough

  • 150 grams Dates (pitted)
  • 100 grams Oats,rolled
  • 50 grams dessicated coconut
  • 75 grams mixed dried fruit, You can use just Sultanas if you like :)
  • 75 grams sunflower seeds

Recipe's preparation

  1. 1. Place Dates, Oats, Dessicated Coconut and Mixed Dried Fruit in the Bowl, Process on Speed 10 for 1min.

    2. Add Sunflower Seeds and process on REVERSE, Speed 3 for 10sec.

    3. Tip dough onto bench top and form into a log

    4. Slice log into 16 pieces

    5. Sprinkle extra Dessicated Coconut over cookies if you like and refrigerate until ready to eat.

    Sunflowers did not incorporate, so rolled the rest in them - delicious.

    Nut-free school snack

    these are so easy and delicious. I incorporated the sunflower seeds with all the other ingredients, I rolled them in coconut at the end too, to reduce stickiness for little hands.

    Yeah, I tend to incorporate the seeds while rollling but I like your suggestion too.

    Delicious!

    A real treat I'm happy to feed my kids!

    I've made them as biscuits and as little balls... Both awesome!

    i do usually mix the sunflower seeds in on forwards instead of reverse and for a little longer just to incorporate them through a little more. Otherwise you just roll them in as you make the log.
