Ingredients
Basic Biscuits
- 100 grams Coconut sugar
- 250 grams Self Raising Flour
- 1 eggs
- 125 grams Butter
- 1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste
- 50 gram Chia Seeds.
- 30-50 grams Milk, to make mixture moist
- 80 gram Coconut Flakes (or shredded)

Place sugar in bowl and mill for 20 seconds on speed 10
Add butter and mix at speed 7 for 20 seconds
Add all remaining ingredients except for milk and mix for 6 seconds on speed 8
Add Mlik to make mixture soft and mix again for 6 seconds speed 8
Take about a tablespoon of dough and roll into a ball then flaten and place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
Cook for approximately 12 minutes in a pre-heated 180 degree oven (or until edges appear slightly golden) Allow biscuits to cool slightly on tray until they are firm enough to transfer to a plate.
Tip
This mixture freezes really well rolled into a log and wrapped in glad wrap - ready for baking when you need it
