  • 150 g rolled oats
  • 35 g rice bubbles
  • 50 g plain flour
  • 40 g Coconut
  • .5 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 60 g brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 65 g Butter
  • 150 g Peanut Butter
  • 150 g Maple syrup
  • 200 g Mixed nuts and fruit
  • 50 g mixed seeds chia, sunflower, linseeds

Recipe's preparation

  1. set oven at 170c 160c fan forced
    Line slice tray with baking paper

    melt butter, peanut butter and maple syrup rev sp2/temp90/2mins
    add cinnamon, brown sugar and vanilla rev sp2/temp90/1min until sugar melts
    add oats, flour, coconut, nuts and fruit mix 20 sec/sp4
    Add seeds mix 20sec/rev sp4
    add rice bubbles mix 20sec/rev sp2
    press into tray
    bake 30 mins or until edges brown
    cool then cut.

Tip

This slice can be make Nut free, flour and sugar free also.
Nut free alternative: replace peanut butter with hulled Tahini.
Flour, Sugar free: leave out the flour and brown sugar from recipe.
Nut, Flour and sugar free: leave out nuts, replace peanut butter with Tahini butter, leave out flour and brown sugar. May need to add extra 50 g tahini and extra 15 g butter.
No Maple Syrup: can replace with honey. Or do a 50/50 mix.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
