This just makes having a Thermomix sooooo worthwhile!
I could become addicted to this - just delicious!
My kids were beyond excited when I told them we had "Nutella" Icecream, it was like christmas, they loved it! LOL
Ok.
A Winner!
I have made this gelato twice now. It is super easy and delicious. Thank you for the recipe, gelato beats ice cream any day of the week.
I don't have an ice cream churner so I froze the mixture overnight, then beat again according to your suggestion and refroze. I could beat it once more but I just wanted to eat it
The first batch I made was with Nutella but I didn't have any for the second batch and didn't want to make some so I experimented and made chocolate and peanut butter. Oh my, amazing!
Love it!! Tastes just like the "milo in a cup" you buy from the ice cream freezers at the shops....Such a hit with the kids. Its a keeper in our house.
You don't need an ice cream maker for this...you can freeze for 4 hours and then beat again in the thermo for 1 minute on speed 7 and then freeze again for 4 hours etc....the more you whip it after freezing it for 4 hours, the creamier it will be.
Sounds delish. Pity I don't have an ice cream maker.
A happy and healthy 2013 with Thermomix
