Recipe's preparation

    Dry mix
  1. Put Roasted Almonds, Figs, Cashews, Goji Berries, Cacao Powder, LSA and Isolyze Choclate Protein Powder in Thermomix. Blend for 20 seconds on speed 8. Check to ensure a smooth consistency. Do not go over 20 seconds or it will go sloppy mix.Use spatula to scrape down the sides of the bowl

  2. Add honey and coconut oil and blend for 20 seconds on speed 4 or until its mixed.

More coconut oil may be required if mixture appears dry. Mixture should be moist enough that desicated coconut will stick. This will depend on the honey, and nuts you use as each time is slightly different. Remove from bowl onto a thermomat to make it easier to mould.

  3. teaspoon a spoonfull of mixture out and roll into a small ball in your hand and then roll in desicated coconut to coat.

This mixture should make around 30 odd balls.

Tip

Rolling in coconut allows the balls to be eaten without messy fingers.

Refrigerate after for best texture

Store on grease proof paper will last for weeks

    Recipe is created for
    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
