  • 1 orange, rind and juice
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 30 g Vanilla Protein Powder
  • Desiccated Coconut, for rolling

Recipe's preparation

    Jaffa Balls
  1. Add - Dates, Almonds, Cacao, Orange (rind only), Vanilla bean paste, Salt and Protein powder into Closed lid"Closed lid"

    speed 8, 45 seconds, MC on

  2. After 5 Seconds squeeze orange onto lid once mixture is sticky stop the thermomix

    (generally only half of the orange depending on how juicy it is)

  3. Roll into walnut size balls and coat in coconut

Tip

if you dont have protein powder add extra vanilla bean paste (can also swap vanilla bean paste for vanilla extract)

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid.     yum! I skipped the protein powder and was still great. Love the orange and chocolate combo. I also didn't have coconut so milled some more almonds and rolled the balls in that.
