Ingredients

Bar Ingredients

  • 150 grams Dried Fruit, apples, cranberries, apricots, prunes, pears
  • 100 grams Shredded Cocount
  • 100 grams rolled oats
  • 30 grams Seeds of choice, sunflower, pepita etc
  • 50 grams water
  • 2 tablespoons honey and or natural peanut butter

Recipe's preparation

  1. Line a 20x20cm tin with baking paper.

    Place all dry ingredients into TM Bowl.

    Place on TM lid with MC.

    Blitz 50 sec /Speed 9 or until mixture is broken up into desired pieces.

    Add the remaining wet ingredients and Blitz 20 secs/ Speed 8 or until mixture is combined. The quantity of wet ingredients may change depending on what dried fruit you use and the desired consistency you are after. Dried pineapple may not require any additional wet ingredients. Feel free to add the wet ingredients in smaller increments to find out what is best for you.

    Press mixture into lined tin and refrigerate until firm.

    Slice into bars and store in fridge.

    If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
    For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
    Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
