  • 5-6 strawberries hulled, cut in half
  • 65 grams plain yogurt
  • 6-8 ice cubes
  • 1 tablespoon chocolate sauce

Recipe's preparation

    smoothie
  1. 1. add the banana and strawberries and blend on  speed 5 for 10 seconds or until smooth

    2. add the yogurt, ice and chocolate sauce and mix on speed 6 for about 15 seconds or until the ice is crushed

    3. if the mixture is not runny enough add more yougurt or ice. and mix until either combined or smooth

    4. pour into to glasses and enjoy

    Easy to follow and to vary. My kids love this. I used the Indian yoghurt type which is much lighter than Greek yoghurt, slightly savoury but not materially so, and has half the sugar from Greek

    I found this to be a good base recipe to work from. I used the same amount of fruit specified but used equal parts yogurt and milk (I used a greater quantity of yogurt than specified in the recipe) and omitted the ice cubes and chocolate sauce. It was lovely.

    I loved this - without the chocolate! Only because I didn't have any tmrc_emoticons.~ ,can't wait to try with. I am going to enjoy using other fruits as well. Thanks for sharing.  tmrc_emoticons.)
