Ingredients
Pork & Apple Rissoles
- 1 parsley
- 1 Granny Smith Apple, quartered and cored
- 1 brown onion, peeled and halved
- 1 spring onion, roughly chopped
- 500 g pork mince
- 2 tbsp Sweet chilli sauce
- 1 --- egg
- pinch salt
- breadcrumbs, (to bind if necessary)
- oil, for cooking

Drop handful of parsley through hole in lid with blades turning on speed 4. Scrape down sides of bowl.
Add apple, onion, spring onion to bowl and chop on Speed 4/3 seconds.
Add pork mince, sweet chilli sauce, egg and salt and mix on Speed 2/"Counter-clockwise operation" / 10 seconds
Add breadcrumbs as necessary (i usually add around 100g of breadcrumbs to make the patties easier to handle) and mix again.
Roll mixture into balls and flatten slighlty.
Cook slowly on a low to medim heat in a little oil.

You really do have to blitz at step 2 for a lot longer/ higher. The size of the chunks probably wouldn't allow for the patties staying together if you followed the recipe. I suspect the recipe creator has made a typo, maybe s/he meant 30 secs. I didn't add breadcrumbs and they were fine. I minced semi-frozen diced pork, removed, did steps 1 and 2 and added back to bowl. I liked these rissoles but my kids loved them so I'll be making them again. Nice the next day on an avo, lettuce, sweet chilli sandwich and I suspect would b lovely with coriander instead of parsley. Thanks for posting.

Note for next time. I subbed Baby Spinach for Parsley and Hoisin Sauce for the Sweet Chilli. Will make again. Thank you!

Really tasty and perfect with mixed salad and jacket potato and roast pumpkin. I also chopped the ingredients a bit longer and gave it all a final mix by hand when i tipped the ingredients out to make them into rissoles. I added grated parmesan cheese and dried chilli instead of sweet chilli sauce. I didnt have parsley so I added some dried mixed herbs. Cooked them in the oven for about 1/2hr.
