Tip

Dough mode"Dough mode" To make this gluten free, simply swap to gluten free macaroni (or any pasta), and gluten free flour.

Dough mode"Dough mode" This dish is very versatile - you can add any leftovers or additional items to it. We often add bacon or chicken, and throw in some veggies. It's perfect as it is though.

Dough mode"Dough mode" If you only have one type of cheese, don't stress. Although the use of multiple cheeses makes it creamy, so does the cream.

Dough mode"Dough mode" To speed up the prep work, cook the pasta on the stove in a pot as per the pasta's instructions, while making the cheese sauce in your Thermomix,

For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.

Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!
