- 1 onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 5 tomatoes, or 1 tin
- 2 tablespoons Veg Stock Paste
- 20 grams oil
- 800 grams water

chop garlic and onion speed 5 for 3 seconds, add oil and saute 2 minutes varoma speed 2. Add tomatoes and chop 5 seconds speed 9, then scrape down and add water and stock, mix 2 seconds speed 3, add rice and cook 100 degrees speed soft reverse 35 minutes. Watch water does not evaporate and add more if needed. Pour into thermoserver and rest 2 minutes before serving. Granish with basil leaves.

This was much better than I thought it would be! So simple but yum. I put some broccoli, carrots, peas and beans in the Varoma for the last 20mins of cooking. The rice needed another 5mins to cook through with steamer basket in place instead of MC to allow it to thicken up a bit. We put grated Parmesan on top too. Will definitely be making this again.
