- 2 tbsp tahini
- 1 tsp cummin powder
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- Sesame seeds to garnish
- Fresh Parsley to garnish

Add garlic clove to mixing bowl + chop 3 sec / speed 7
Scrape down sides + repeat if necessary
Add chic peas + beetroot to mixing bowl, together with remaining ingredients
Blend for 10-12 sec / speed 7
Repeat for a smoother texture
Garnish with sesame seeds + parsley
Serve with crackers
Enjoy !

If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. I added extra lemon and it was DELISH! Wont be able to go back to store bought ever again
I roasted the garlic and beetroot first, added extra lemon juice and added salt and pepper. YUM!
Yummo however I added salt and pepper to give it a flavour boost. Will be one of my favourite dips
made this for the first time. nice mild flavour. i also added more lemon juice for flavour and also to achieve a smoother consistency. It is very thick. Will make this again
Enjoying this with rice snacks or raw veggies. Added thee times the lemon juice to enhance. Thanks
