- 120 grams Salted butter
- 220 grams brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 egg
- 210 grams plain flour
- 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
- 250 grams chocolate chips

One of my favorite recipes, and barely a crumb is left once laid out
1. Place butter, sugar and vanilla into TM bowl and cream at speed 3-4 for one minute.
2. Crack egg into mix, and mix for a further 30 seconds.
3. Add flour and baking powder to TM bowl and mix at speed 2 until just combined.
4. Remove dough from TM bowl and place in medium bowl, pour in chocolate chips and mix them through.
5. Divide the dough into 18 (or however many cookies you wish) portions and place on baking paper lined trays, leaving space around each cookie for expansion.
6. Place in preheated oven of 180 degrees celcius for 15-20 minutes, or until slightly browned. Cookies should still be soft when pulled out, and will harden as they cool.
Tip
Keep an eye on the oven, all ovens vary in temperature so watch out for burning!
