2. Cream butter and sugar for 30-40 seconds on speed 4.
3. Add Milk & Vanilla Essence, mix for 15-20 seconds on speed 2.
4. Add flour and custard powder (preferrebly sifted) and mix for 20 seconds "Counter-clockwise operation" speed 2. Scrape sides of the bowl down, then use dough function "Dough mode" and knead for up to 1 minute.
5. Once dough has formed, pour mixture out onto thermo mat or large bowl, and add choc chips. mix them through (roughly) by hand. (This keeps the choc chips in bigger chunks than mixing in on reverse function.)
6. Roll teaspoons of mixture into balls and place on prepared trays about 5cm apart. Then flatten slightly with a fork.
7. Bake for 15-18 minutes until lightly golden. Cool on the trays for 5 mins, then transfer to a wire rack to cool comletely. Will store for up to 2 weeks in a sealed container.

Recipe is created for
TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Yummy Biscuits, i had to add more milk through hole to make dough form. Cooked for 15 min in 190 deg oven. next time i'd bake 160 oven for 12-15 mins as they were cooked too much and oven too high.

Tasty biscuit. Took a bit to get my dough to form but it did. Made this in the T31. Thanks for posting.
