TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl. Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Good to use as a base recipe. I found it was way to much liquid. It was more like drinking a cold coke. Will reduce the soda water next time.
I made the soda water out of a soda stream but I ended up with no slushie. Must have been because it melted the ice too quickly. Will try again with fridge-cold soda water.
Perfect for the hot summer days, safes me leaving the house to go to the shops in this 40 plus degree horrible hot days for the kids slushy addictions
Excellent! Perfect amount of flavouring. Would probably put a bit less soda water to ice in next time as it melted quite quickly. But that might just be the FNQ heat!
My kids and all their friends love this when they get home from school on a hot day. "Better than McDonalds" was how my son described this and I'm happy because soda water and ice has no calories it's just the flavouring that does
