Ingredients
Tomato Sauce
- 1 carrot, roughly chopped
- 2 sticks Celery, roughly chopped
- 1 brown onion
- 1 courgette, roughly sliced
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 level teaspoon sugar
- 200 g marscapone
- 700 g Passata Sauce
- salt and pepper to taste

Add onion and garlic clove into TM and mix for 3 seconds at speed 5.
Add olive oil and saute on varoma temp for 3 minutes at speed 2.
Add chopped up carrot, celery, courgette, sugar and passata sauce and cook at 100 degrees for 20 mins at speed 3.
Blitz the sauce by bringing the speed up from 1 to 10 for 20 seconds to make a smooth sauce.
Add the marscapone and salt and pepper as desired. Mix for 10 seconds speed 8.
Serve with cooked pasta, I use the spirals and top with parmesan cheese.
Tip
Cook the pasta in the measuring basket whilst cooking this sauce.
Any vegetables can be used to make this pasta sauce.

This worked a treat with my 4yo and 2yo. I substituted the passata for 2 fresh tomatoes, 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and 100ml water. I also replaced the mascarpone for 100g of fresh ricotta. Delish
