Recipe's preparation

  1. Place all ingredients in the bowl.
Blitze speed 7 for 30 seconds.
Scrape then blitze speed 10 for 1 minute.

Make into balls, squares or moulds. Refer to the tips below.

Tip

Push into moulds for fancy occasions - a bit fiddly but worth it. Wet your finger a little to smooth over firm. Refrigerate for a couple of hours before popping out. Keep in the fridge.
Roll into balls - use wet hands for less sticky rolling. Can also roll in extra coconut if you like. Keep in the fridge.
Line a slice tin with baking paper or use a silicone slice form. Press into a slice tin. Roll with the side of a glass to press in firm. Refrigerate for a couple of hours then remove and cut into bite size squares. This is the quickest method.

Freezes well.
Halves easily

    TM 5
If you are using a Thermomix® TM6 measuring cup with your Thermomix® TM5:
For cooking (simmering) at temperatures of 95°C or above (200°F), the simmering basket should always be used instead of the TM6 measuring cup, as the TM6 measuring cup fits tightly in the lid. The simmering basket rests loosely on top, is steam-permeable, and also prevents food spatter from the mixing bowl.
Please note that the TM5 mixing bowl has a larger capacity than the TM31 (capacity of 2.2 liters instead of 2.0 liters for TM 31). Recipes for the Thermomix TM5 may not be cooked with a Thermomix TM31 for safety reasons without adjusting the quantities. Risk of scalding by spraying of hot liquids: Do not exceed the maximum filling quantity and observe the filling level markings of the mixing bowl!

Recipe works well halved but I never do as I freeze it. My 2 year old calls it orange chocolate and I never mind if she has a few pieces as I know what’s in it.
